Efraim Bason

Efraim is Founder and CEO of LOCAL OCEAN LLC. He has an impressive track record of growing successful businesses in the United States, Mexico and Israel. Efraim is the owner of a well rounded group of companies including a computer hardware wholesale company, a health and beauty products distributor, and a real estate company. Efraim grew his computer hardware wholesale business to $60 million in revenue and made Entrepreneur Magazine’s HOT 100 list of fastest-growing new companies in the US. Currently, Efraim oversees LOCAL OCEAN’S strategy development and operations. 

Udi Brill
Chief Biologist/Farm Manager

Udi is a highly experienced biologist and professional aquaculture farm manager.  He acted as CEO of the Aquaculture Division of The Israel Salt Company. In his 17 years with the company, Udi managed its marine species hatchery, fresh water ornamental hatchery, marine ornamental research hatchery, and on-land intensive grow-up farm. Udi has served on the Board of Directors of a cage farm operation in Turkey. Currently, Udi manages all Local Ocean operations in the US including the  LOCAL OCEAN facility located in upstate New York and a hatchery in New Hampshire.

Roy Ben Itzhak
CFO

Roy has a strong track record as an executive manager at companies in several different industries. He has extensive experience in fundraising both in equity and in debt. Roy has been instrumental in establishing and growing several companies through overall strategy development and implementation, operations oversight, and primary responsibility with respect to financing decisions. Roy has a degree in Law from Tel Aviv University and has extensive experience leading investor negotiations, deal structuring, and execution.  Roy is currently in charge of financial management and investor relations at LOCAL OCEAN.

Raymond Mizrahi
VP Sales & Marketing

Raymond has been involved in Sales & Marketing for the past ten years. His experience and leadership have enabled LOCAL OCEAN to expand into different sales categories such as retail, foodservice, and online retail. Currently, Raymond oversees retail supply and order fulfillment, manages customer relationships, and sets the future direction for LOCAL OCEANS’ Sales & Marketing department.

George Nardi
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer
GreatBay Aquaculture of NH, LLC

George earned an MS in Marine Environmental Science in 1982 from SUNY at Stony Brook, specializing in fisheries. He has extensive experience with all aspects of the aquaculture and seafood industry. George founded GreatBay Aquaculture of Maine, LLC, the first commercial cage farm for Atlantic cod in 2008; now a separate company, based in Sorrento, ME. George has guided GreatBay Aquaculture of NH, LLC from its beginning in 1995, pioneering the development of commercial summer flounder culture, through today having now produced commercially 6 species and delivering millions of juveniles annually to Local Ocean operations and third party operations globally.
